In a tragic event on Monday, a two-year-old boy lost his life after falling into a water container in Keriaguda village, located within the Undhurukonda panchayat and under the jurisdiction of Kalimela police in Malkangiri district.
The child, identified as Mahesh Madhi, was the son of local residents Dule and Unga Madhi. The unfortunate incident took place while Unga was in the forest gathering firewood, and Dule had stepped away briefly.
While playing near their home, Mahesh accidentally fell into a plastic container that was filled with water intended for washing dishes.
